Summer (seasons)

Summer is the warmest of the four temperate seasons, and includes the longest days. It lies between spring and autumn. The seasons start on different dates in different cultures based on astronomy and regional meteorology. However generally, when it is summer in the southern hemisphere it is winter in the northern hemisphere, and vice versa.
